I create two groups! How can I publish a new Site or a Download for only this two groups?
Is there a possibility?

Yes. There is two type of Group

1) Basic Group. Basic group is "User", "Administrator", "Moderator", "Agent", "Redactor"


2) User Difinited Group. It can be "Private or Internal hidle" or "Public" or "Administrative Group"

The step is:

1) Create a Private Group
2) Open User editor and set up new created group.
3) Go in Download Directory and setup the autorization on the directory. Store Portal have a complex management of authorization on all the webportal; In WebPage, In Download Directory, On Download file, In Shop Directory etc etc.

Remember to remove in authorization the "anonymous" user and also the "User". The "anonymous" are the web user not registered, the "User" are the web user registered and authorizated to logon.

- I open User editor and set Users at this new Group
- I open a Download set Category (Download), Visibility (visible), Access type (???Personal???)
- I open "Permissions..." of Download, add this Group and delete "anonymous" and "member".
- Nothing happens. The Download is not present for this Users in this Group.

What´s wrong?

I have MSSQL2000!

3) Access Type will be "anonymous" and Category will be standard (no personal)
4) Permission is ok.

The Access-Type in category definition is used only if you use standard group (user, agent, moderator and redactor), if you use permission leave access-type as default. If you use "personal" type in category you assign category to the login of the user. Sample if i create a category with name "giardina" same of the my login and tell that it is personal category, all the file in this category will be downloaded only from me.

When you setup permission on category automatically you have set all. Is important only the permission on private group.
