TRANSPORT MODULE

The transport management makes it possible to define the kinds of transport utilizable on the portal and the relative costs. In the final phase of an order, the user who effects the purchase selects the kind of transport from the list defined by the administrator of the portal and then confirms. The portal, applying the pre-set cost rules, calculates the costs of transport and proposes to the user acceptance of the order. For each mode of transport it is possible to define a minimum cost, called the initial cost of transport, a factor of increase, calculated as a percentage of the total weight of the ware or of the order total and a maximum which the cost of transport cannot exceed. It is possible to set an order total beyond which the portal will offer the transport costs free to the customer.

• Possibility of Defining Unlimited modes of transport.
• Possibility of defining for each type of transport an initial cost or base cost of transport, a factor of increase as a percentage of the weight or of the total of the order and a cost maximum.
• Possibility of setting a free offer threshold for the transport.
